Does The HCG Diet Work

Learn my personal thoughts a year later on the hcg diet.

It is now a year later and I have good news and bad news for those of you wanting to start this diet. Perhaps some of you are on the diet and are needing some encouragement to continue.

Well, it's a year later and I will tell you that I did gain all the weight I lost back. In fact I gained a few more pounds. In the end I believe I lost a total of 18 lbs on that diet. I starved myself for that?

I was always hungry. Even when I said the hunger was minimal, it was still not easy. I never felt that it was easier. My body went crazy on that diet. When I finished, I tried Weight Watchers for a short time. I lost a few pounds on that diet, but I would get hungry and eat things that were not on that diet or more points then I was allowed.

As time went on I became more and more frustrated. I watched my weight come back and I was become very afraid at where it was heading. I hurt all the time. My hips had become really painful and my doctor said I had to stop walking!

Walking was helping me keep that weight down. What was I going to do? I had hip bursitis and fibromyalgia. Pain was always present.

Well, time passed and I found some wonderful things. My first main nutritional break through came from Kangen water. My friend, Darlene who has done the hcg diet about 4 times and is on it AGAIN, bought a Kangen water machine. You can read all about the Kangen water machine on my other site.

Within a few weeks my hip bursitis disapeared. I started drinking Kangen water back in April of this year, 2008. I bought my own machine in April and have loaned it out a few times. I can't do that anymore though as my health comes first now. Anyway once my hips stopped hurting I started to walk on the river trail again....
